In Poland ALSO is expanding its portfolio for Big Data software solutions. The IT distributor and technology provider is now offering Bitnine’s AgensGraph, a fast and reliable graph database software, designed for simple and intuitive management and analysis of large data sets. The software will be available in the fourth quarter of 2019.
AgensGraph is an innovative, multi-model database management system, allowing the simultaneous use of relational and graph databases. The solution has been designed to help companies and institutions to fully exploit the potential of Big Data. The transition from more traditional, relational databases to their graph equivalent enables a better understanding of connected datasets which facilitates the process of drawing key conclusions.
“Graph databases have a variety of features which make them a very effective tool,” explains Sofocles Socratous, President of Bitnine. “Primarily, they allow a fast and easy recognition of connections between datasets, especially when they are placed not within one table, but in several dispersed sets. As a result, we get fast answers also to very complex queries. This is because they are guided directly to the appropriate part of the graph. In addition, performance remains the same even when the number of relationships increases. Importantly, the data visualization process is very simple and intuitive”, he concludes.
Graph databases are in trend: In their “Top 10 Data and Analytics Technology Trends for 2019”, the analyst company Gartner placed graph databases in fifth place. According to its analysts, the growing demand for fast preparation of relevant data and their complex analysis will drive the use of graph systems and graph database management systems to grow by 100% annually until 2022.
“In the age of digitization, the amount of available data is growing at an extremely fast pace. Dealing with Big Data is a must and the effective management of large data sets, its analysis and the rapid development of accurate conclusions is a key factor in today’s business. It is nowadays one of the most important competitive advantages for an enterprise”, says Hanna Osetek-Pasquet, Managing Director at ALSO Polska. “Our partners and their clients in mind we, therefore, decided to add to our portfolio a sophisticated graph database management software. Our choice is Bitnine AgensGraph, a hybrid tool enabling work both in graph and relational databases.”
Bitnine is specialized in providing solutions for creating and operating graph databases. ALSO offers its innovative AgensGraph software in a subscription model. Under the annual license, customers receive full support as well as system maintenance. The sale of solutions will be supported by the expert knowledge of the distributors’ specialists.
