Last week, we promoted Cloudera Session Seoul 2016 and introduced the theme, agenda, and sponsors of the session.
See link below ‘Cloudera Sessions 2016 – Seoul’
The session was held on the 10th November at 8:00 and the registration and sponsor networking time was from 8 a.m. for a half hour. The following pictures are the lobby of event hall in Four Seasons Hotel Seoul.
The first time of the session was the keynotes of Doug Cutting, Chief Architect and Amr Awadallah, Founder CTO of Cloudera. Doug Cutting, the creator of Hadoop is an advocate and creator of open-source search technology. He originated Lucene and, with Mike Cafarella, Nutch, both open-source search technology projects which are now managed through the Apache Software Foundation.
After the speech, keynote and presentation of Cloudera, there was ‘Coffee Break’ and ‘Photo Event with Doug Cutting’ at 10:30. The attendees envied his photo with Doug.
Bitnine was offered a booth as the platinum sponsor of Cloudera Session, and we introduced Graph Database and AgensGraph to the attendees by using X-banner, catalogues, brochures and the monitor slide show. Our AgensGraph is the Korea’s first RDB+GDB solution that was developed at Bitnine’s own Silicon Valley R&D center this year.
We also carried out a survey targeting the session attendees and gave free gifts to them – towel, supplementary battery and USB. The most people responded to the survey and our booth was busy doing that.
In recent years, many cyberterrors have been occurred in the world, so he shared the real application cases and efficient analytical methods by using Big Graph regarding these massive cyberterror information collected by the various channels.
This Cloudera Session was highly successful. Thanks you very much for hearing our presentation and visiting our booth! And thank you, Cloudera!
